Hello, my name is Michelle, and I'm the founder of Shields Up. I'm a wife of an amazing man and mama of 2 teenagers. In the fall of 2025 we discovered our teenage son was struggling with addiction...this turned our world upside down and we clung to Christ during the high waves and fierce winds of this storm. A friend from church texted a simple message "Shields Up" and I just knew the Holy Spirit was urging me to do something with that phrase. It was a poignant reminder that our war is not against flesh and blood, but it against the spiritual forces of evil at work in the heavenly realms....and we needed to keep our shield of faith raised high over our family. That is where Shields Up was born. Our goal is to place messages on clothing to encourage the believer during trials, and facilitate conversations with strangers in our day to day life.
